Sorry about the picture - I haven't taken progress pictures since the last one that's posted, and although this one is a bit racy I guess, it's the best one to show my weight loss. I now weigh 150.6 lbs, and I don't plan on losing anymore weight. I think at 5' 11" this is okay, although of course I have extra skin and I'm not really happy with my body.

I still (obviously) need to have surgery, but that's about $25,000 away for me.

I'm really sorry I haven't updated in so long...

I suck, I know


Sorry I don't have a side-by-side comparison, but see below for one. I'm around 190-195 lbs now and have been teetering here for a while. I really really need to have surgery, but I can't afford it, so...

I'll try to get around to actually writing something about the past year pretty soon.

All Apologies

I'm so sorry for being such a flake. I really truthfully honestly am just insanely busy. Work, school, kid, not to mention all the health issues I've been having, probably as a result of this diet. And fall term is not as easy as summer, especially since I'm taking six credits at once instead of one class at a time. Enough excuses - I'm really sorry.

I've been keeping up with the diet though, and at last weigh-in, the magic number was 226.6 - which looks like about 20 lbs lost in 2 1/2 months. That's not really fabulous or anything, but I'm still playing the game.

I hope everyone else is doing well and staying healthy.

I still haven't started exercising, and I'm starting to feel weak and sluggish ALL THE TIME. I've tried doing exercise videos and I gave up on that. It seems like someone is always milling around my house and I'm not really comfortable doing it in front of others. I can't join a gym because I haven't got enough time (or money!) and I really, really HATE walking. I can't seem to get motivated to work out.

If anyone has any suggestions that will accommodate my various and sundry excuses, I'd listen.

Here, There and Everywhere

I'm too busy for words. Well not really I guess because I'm about to tell you. My son is out of school for the summer (Thank God!), but now I'm back in school. I'm only taking 6 credits for the summer term, but I'm also working full time. And now, my son is in daycare while I go to school so that he may keep socializing with other kids this summer. So we get up every morning, get ready, travel 12 miles to drop him off at daycare, go to school myself, then pick him up from daycare, another 12 miles back home, go pee if I'm lucky, and run to the bus for work. Then, after work, I catch a bus home, eat dinner (at 10:30pm), do homework (again, if I'm lucky), then go to sleep for around 6 - 7 hours (if I'm - you get the idea), only to wake up and do it all over again. I'm having a good time though.


So, I'm sorry I haven't been posting.

6/6 - 266.2 lbs
6/13 - 264.6 lbs
6/20 - 259.4 lbs
Looks like I missed a weigh-in right about here

I'm getting to 250 nice and slowly.
